P2V Essentials

I am currently doing a P2V conversion for one of my customers. Cleaning up the converted server can be a time consuming job. In this previous post I mentioned two tools to remove HP management software from the converted server.

The P2V conversion process also leaves a lot of inactive devices in the device manager. Removing these devices is a lot of work.

Rob van der Woude has created a great script based on the Microsoft Tool ‘devcon’, to automatically remove all inactive devices. This script is a valuable tool for your P2V conversion process!

You can download the script here.
